Soraya
is a beautifully bred black mare, with an excellent
temperament, good conformation and very good movement.
She is
by outstanding stallion Sandro Song - sire of Sandro
Hit. Sandro Song was the undisputed champion at the
stallion licensing as far as expression and trot mechanics
are concerned. He then won at the 1991 Stallion Performance
Test, and in addition to an excellent first crop of
foals, this made him the champion stallion
of the 1992 Main Premium Show. Sandro Song can also
boast of several other licensed sons, State Premium
mares and dressage horses as well as show jumpers that
have been highly successful all the way up to advanced
level.
Feinbrand was ReserveChampion at the Stallion Licensing
and then in 1990 at his first season as a competition
horse, he finished second in the Oldenburg Country Championships
with 9.5 for his trot. 3rd and second best Oldenburg
horse at the German Riding Horse Championships in Verden,
and with over 140 points he became Reserve Champion
at the Stallion Performance Test. By achieving 9.5 twice
for rideability, he impressively emphasized
his natural riding horse qualities. In 1992, Feinbrand
was the Oldenburg Champion of 5 year old dressage horses
in Rastede.
Soraya's dam is a State Premium mare, who has produced
many top dressage prospects, with sons and daughters
in Switzerland and USA.
Grand-dam Amorette, has produced 2 Licensed stallions.
Boticello is a well known stallion who is competed by
Canadian Olympic rider Leonie Bramall. During his stallion
approval, BOTICELLO was named reserve champion and premium
stallion. In 2003, a total of 23 wins and placing in
the Prix st George/Intermediare classes crown him as
one of the most successful competition stallions for
the year! In 2004 he had over 20 wins at the advanced
level (including Intermediare I).
The stallion Baresi, based in Austria is also competing
at S Level in Dressage.
