- MKM Sportshorse Stud are proud to announce
that Karen Malcolmson has successfully passed her exams
on the training course for Artificial Insemination Technicians,
held at Twemlows Hall Stud Farm in Shropshire. Karen
will now carry on gaining experience next spring and
AI our own mares with the help of the Low-Mitchell's
at Balcormo Stud in Fife.
11 Decemember 2004 - Another successful
weekend was had for Havanna MKM and Karen with 70.7%
to gain 2nd Place in their first test and 68% to receive
another 2nd Place for their second test.
21 November 2004 - Havanna MKM and
Karen Malcolmson had another successful weekend at Ladyleys,
where they got 2nd Place with a score of 69.3% for their
first dressage test, and then 1st Place with a score
of 70.7% in their second test.
31 October 2004 - Havanna wins at her first
dressage outing!
Our young Hohenstein mare received First Place
with a score of 68.8% with judge saying "Horse
has fantastic paces". In her second test she received
Fourth Place with a score of 68% and this judge's comments
were "A pleasure to watch". We are thrilled
with the confidence and relaxed manner of Havanna at
her first outing.
28 October 2004 - We are pleased to
announce the arrival from Germany of our new black Hanoverian
mare. This mare carries the very best bloodlines in
the world. Rubinha is by Rubinstein out of a mare by
Weltmeyer. She is in foal to Belissimo M for late March
2005. This foal will be for sale. Please see Sales Page

16 September 2004 - Our Donatelli x Rubinstein
colt finally left today for his new home in Hampshire.
21 August 2004 - Our Donatelli x Rubinstein
colt foal (named Dondeschamps by his new owner) receives
Third Place at the British Hannoverian Horse Society,
Scottish Regional Branding/Show.
22 July 2004 - We are pleased with
the arrival of our new broodmare from Germany, St. Pr.
Havanna by Hohenstein.
30 March 2004 - Liberia S has produced
an outstanding bay filly foal at 03.55am today.

March 2004 - Raissa produced another stunning
black colt at 9.30pm today. By Donatelli, this colt
is a beautiful modern lightweight foal with outstanding
movement and wonderful temperament.
