Santiago
has the very best of pedigree combined with an excellent
temperament, good conformation and movement.
Santiago's
sire is the much talked about Sir Donnerhall, who fulfilled
all expectations at his 30 day test where he won in
all three gaits with top scores between 9.0 and 10.0.
The ‘foreign’ riders awarded him 9.5 for
rideability. His jumping talent is also worth mentioning.
The ‘foreign’ riders in the final test judged
his jumping talent with the score of 8.75.
For his 70 day test, Sir Donnerhall got 9.5 on trot,
9.8 on canter, 8.3 on walk, 10 on rideability. His overall
score was 151,57, with a dressage score of an unheard
of 163,87 !!!
Santiago's
dam's sire is the stunning black Hanoverian stallion
'Donatelli' who is by the legendary stallion Donnerhall.
Donnerhall combined a sports career at Grand Prix level
ridden by Karin Rehbein with a remarkable breeding performance,
including more than 40 approved sons.
Donatelli's damsire is the stallion Pik Bube I, also
known as a stallion producing dressage horses.
Donatelli had an outstanding 100 day Performance Test
at Neustadt-Dosse in 1997. He was "Leistungsklasse
I" with a total score of 121,26 points.
For the dressage elements he obtained high marks for
walk: 9, trot: 9, canter: 9 and for his character he
got a 10!
We also
have another legendary stallion in this pedigree - Rubinstein
! Also a Grand Prix dressage stallion, who has produced
numerous sons and offspring that also compete at the
very top level in dressage. Rubinstein is known for
producing horses with excellent rideability !
At the
Bundesstutenschau 1998, St. Pr./Elite Rosebel received
1a in the 4jährige Stuten, Klasse I. She gained
1f Brillantring, and produced a son by Sandro Hit who
sold at the EA Vechta Foal Auction in 2002 for 25.000
€ and then went on to become a Licensed stallion,
who completed his 30 day test at Münster in June
2005.
The mare
St. Pr./Elite Rubina produced a Licensed stallion by
Rubinstein who stood in Canada. He was the top scoring
stallion at the CSHA's Ontario inspection in October
of 2000 with a score of 85%.
