Raissa is
by the top Oldenburg dressage stallion ‘Rubinstein’.
Rubinstein’s dam “Antine” is a full
sister of the multiple Olympics champion Rembrandt ridden
by Nicole Uphoff.
Rubinstein had a fairytale dressage career with Nicole
Uphoff, winners of numerous grand prix’s all over
the world until his untimely death.
‘Wohlan’ is another big name in Raissa’s
pedigree, and this bloodline can be found in one of
the top Hanoverian stallions of all times “Argentan
I”. In 1994, Argentan was declared Hanoverian
stallion of the year. He is also the sire of the top
Hanoverian sire of modern times, which is ‘Argentinus’.
The stylish chestnut stallion “Duden II”,
also features in Raissa’s bloodlines and this
stallion enjoyed the very highest esteem as a producer
of top quality performance horses. Yet another top Hanoverian
stallion “Duellant”, who left his mark on
almost every German breed, is also in Raissa’s
bloodlines.
Raissa was fully Performance Tested in Germany and has
a wonderful temperament that she passes onto all her
foals.
Raissa produced
the outstanding 'Riviera'
who was Third at the Scottish Sports Horse Foal Show
in 2002 and is now based at Laura Fry's Dressage Yard
in Yorkshire.
She also produced 'Skye MKM'
in 2005 who received a Premium from the Oldenburg graders.
In 2006, she produced a superb Don Kennedy colt 'Don
Deinde' who was bought as a future dressage horse
for Louise Stamp.
'Bernwode Delauney', also
bred from Raissa, is currently being brought on carefully
by Louise Crutcher who has represented Great Britain
on several occasions as a member of the Pony Dressage
Championship Squad.
