Raissa
1991 Black Hanoverian Mare
Rubinstein x Woldemar
Main Studbook Hanoverian

Performance Tested in Germany

Raissa is by the top Oldenburg dressage stallion ‘Rubinstein’. Rubinstein’s dam “Antine” is a full sister of the multiple Olympics champion Rembrandt ridden by Nicole Uphoff.
Rubinstein had a fairytale dressage career with Nicole Uphoff, winners of numerous grand prix’s all over the world until his untimely death.
‘Wohlan’ is another big name in Raissa’s pedigree, and this bloodline can be found in one of the top Hanoverian stallions of all times “Argentan I”. In 1994, Argentan was declared Hanoverian stallion of the year. He is also the sire of the top Hanoverian sire of modern times, which is ‘Argentinus’.
The stylish chestnut stallion “Duden II”, also features in Raissa’s bloodlines and this stallion enjoyed the very highest esteem as a producer of top quality performance horses. Yet another top Hanoverian stallion “Duellant”, who left his mark on almost every German breed, is also in Raissa’s bloodlines.
Raissa was fully Performance Tested in Germany and has a wonderful temperament that she passes onto all her foals.

Raissa produced the outstanding 'Riviera' who was Third at the Scottish Sports Horse Foal Show in 2002 and is now based at Laura Fry's Dressage Yard in Yorkshire.
She also produced 'Skye MKM' in 2005 who received a Premium from the Oldenburg graders.
In 2006, she produced a superb Don Kennedy colt 'Don Deinde' who was bought as a future dressage horse for Louise Stamp.
'Bernwode Delauney', also bred from Raissa, is currently being brought on carefully by Louise Crutcher who has represented Great Britain on several occasions as a member of the Pony Dressage Championship Squad.
