THE LOUIS-WIEGELS-SHOW - Every 7 years the Hannoverian
Society puts on an over regional in-hand show for mares
in Uelzen. In 2003, Gestüt Mühlenort was represented
in the class of 2 year olds by "Miss Moonshine"
sired by Munchausen and she was honored with
a 1-d Premium prize. At this meeting only the winning
mares from the diverse regional shows are invited to
compete for the top honors.
Miss Moonshine was Two Year old show
winner from 21 mares and then received 1d Premium at
the Louis-Wiegels Show.
In 2004 she was Mare Performance Test Winner.
2006 colt from Miss Moonshine (Furst Heinrich- Munchausen)
was Champion Foal at Schillerslage and advanced to the
winners final in Beedenbostel where he scored a final
of 9,08 and second highest score of the day becoming
Reserve Champion.
Draginia (De Niro), Miss Moonshine's
dam, was herself as a 2 year
old 1a-premiered and was in the same year at area line
shows with
1d honors pramiered.
St.Pr.Weltfee (Weltmeyer), grand-dam
was many times class and
show winner at regional and over regional line class
mare shows.
Further she was many times winner of riding horse classes
and finished
a good mare testing: Gaits : 9 / 9 / 8 , Ridability:
9 / 8
Münchhausen
was the outstanding champion stallion of the
1997 approvals in Germany, and sold for the highest
price that year.
His career took off by winning Reserve Champion title
at his Stallion Performance Test, winning the National
Trakehner Riding Horse Championships in Cologne as a
4 year old, and winning his first 3rd level tests as
a 5 year old. He qualified for the Bundeschampionships
three times, and was the FEI Reserve World Champion
Young Dressage horse in Verden as a 6 year old. He qualified
for the Nürnberg Burgpokal finals, Germany's most
prestigious event for young dressage horses before their
first season at Grand Prix. In 2004, EH Münchhausen
debuted at international Grand Prix shows and immediately
won with scores in the 70s. In 2004, he and his rider,
Fie Skasoe, were named to the Danish Olympic Team longlist.
