Havanna
is a beautifully put together mare, bred by Leonie Bramall
and Volker Dusche in Germany and is by the outstanding
stallion 'Hohenstein', who was vice-champion of the
1994 stallion performance test in Adelheidsdorf, the
1995 Trakehner riding horse champion, and came third
in the Federal German Riding Horse Campionship. He won
his first advanced dressage competition at the age of
seven in 1998. Hohenstein's son 'His Highness' was the
most spectacular champion stallion of recent Hanoverian
breeding history and was sold for the auction price
of 515,000euros.
Havanna comes from a very successful dam line of many
state premium mares. She completed her tests with scores
of 7's and 8's, including good scores for her jumping.
Havanna was also First in her class as a two year old
at Schillerslage in Germany, and then went on to gain
her State Premium title in May 2003.
