Dec 2011 - **Riviera wins FSMQ and FSAMQ**
Well done
to Laura Fry and Riviera with their wins at Willerby
Hill Farm, 20th November. For the FSMQ, they gained
76.40% - 1st place, and for FSAMQ, they gained
73.16% - 1st Place.

- **Fantasia MKM arrives at her new home in Canada**
Congratulations
to Chris and Dale on the purchase of Fantasia

home this week, and we look forward to updates

- **Don Deinde MKM selected into Hartpury Academy**
We were
very pleased to hear from the owner of Don
Deinde MKM -
"Just thought
I would let you know about what Don Deinde is
getting up to.
I have recently started at Hartpury College studying
a BSc Equine Science degree. At Hartpury there
is an opportunity to be part of the Equine Academy
where you recieve regular training from Carl Hester
and Nick Burton and other various opportunities.
To get into the equine academy you had complete
a trial, I had originally planned to do this on
my older horse as he is working at a higher level,
however he has not yet made a full recovery from
his injury which he sustained earlier in the year.
This meant that I had to trial on Rio. He was
against a lot of good horses who are competing
at PSG level and I didnt think that we would get
in. Rio was an absolute superstar and I couldn't
of asked for him to do anymore and to my absolute
delight I have just found out that we have made
it into the Hartpury Equine Academy!!
Nick Burton has said:
'An impressive horse with a highly trainable attitude.
We look forward to welcoming you to the development
squad where we hope to develop you and your horse
to achieve your goals in the future.'
I am so excited and am over the moon with Rio,
he never fails to put a smile on my face and tries
every time I ride!

- **Riviera at the Nationals**
We were
pleased to hear from the owner of Riviera
-
"Rivy 19th
in Medium Open at the Nationals, creditable result,
no mistakes just not so engaged as some of the
neater shorter combinations. Really pleased with
him, he behaved well, no mistakes and enjoyed
the experience. Just done our affiliated this
weekend and won both Medium Qualifiers and both
Advanced Medium Qualifiers so I think that is
his ticket to the winter semis."

MKM's first foal gains BEF Elite with 9.21**
Congratulations
to Fay Thomas on her success with Sapphire
MKM and her colt foal Frasier FST, which gained
an Elite at the BEF Futurity with a score of 9.21.
At the BWBS Annual Show, Sapphire MKM came 2nd
in the 4-6year old mare class and then took the
overall Reserve Champion Mare. Her colt, Frasier
FST won the colt foal class, then took Reserve
Champion in the Foal Championship.

qualifies for Medium Open National Champs**

Riviera came 2nd in the regionals, qualifying
for the National Dressage Championships in September.

**St.Pr. Miss Moonshine youngstock results**
FURST TYME
(by Fürst Heinrich - Munchhausen) continues
his success in 2011. During the New South Wales
Championships in Australia he won both tests (5
year olds) with over 80% with his rider Nicole
Tough.
His 6 year old full brother, FURST PICOLO, took
4th place in his first Medium level test in Bayern,
Germany with his owner Kathrin Pilgram.

**Riviera wins Medium Qualifier and Advanced Medium
Qualifier**
Congratulations
to Laura Fry and Riviera
on their successful weekend at Frys Dressage on
11th/12th June.
Riviera and Laura were 1st in the Medium 73
Qualifier with 71.47%, and also took 1st in the
Advanced Medium 85 Qualifier with 67.35%.
They also gained 2nd in Medium 64 with
66.86% and 1st in the Medium 75 Qualifier with
67.57%.
Well done Rivy, Laura and owner Julie Langlands!!!

Qualifier with 66.49%, and then went on to take
3rd in the Advanced Medium 98 with 64.47%.

- We were
so pleased to hear from the owner of Don
Deinde MKM -
hear is what she had to say about him.
"I am thrilled with
Don Deinde ( Rio ) – everyone who meets
him thinks he is an absolute star in the making.
He has recently attended
a BYRDS residential training camp and did not
put a foot wrong for the entire 3 days at Somerford
Park . Last Monday we were asked to take part
in the BYRDS North West Regional Championships
and some photos are attached from this event.
He performed really well as, up until this date,
we have only been competing at preliminary level.
The tests we had to do were a novice and a squad
young rider test which my trainer felt was elementary
standard. I knew this would be a big ‘ask’
of him as he is filling in for my other horse
who is unfortunately on box rest. But, as we have
come to expect of Rio , he tried really hard,
was fabulous to ride and got some very positive
feed back and scores.
I am planning to take him
out to do some of the BD Young Horse classes with
the Potential International Dressage Horse in
May at Myerscough International Arena and the
British Young Horse at Somerford Premier League
also in May. I will let you know how we get along.
Rio is turning out to be
my dream horse and I feel so lucky to have him.
I am due to start an Equine
Science Degree at Hartpury College this September
and both Rio and my other horse Ronald are coming
with me. This should be a fantastic experience
for us all and I am really looking forward to
it.
I will let you know how
we progress and thank you once more for breeding
such a truly amazing horse. "

At 2.20am
on 1st May, St.Pr. Dorett produced a big chestnut
colt by Quaterback.
This is going to be a very big moving colt!

At 5.30am
on 22nd April, Raissa produced a lovely dark bay
filly by Furstenball.

April 2011 - **Riviera wins his first Advanced
Medium**
A big congratulations
to Laura Fry and Riviera
on their success at Frys Dressage. Riviera
and Laura were 2nd in the Medium with 66.21%,
and then went on to claim First Place in their
first attempt at Advanced Medium with 66.76%.
Well done also to the owner of Riviera,
Julie Langlands. Julie tells
us that "He is showing great aptitude for
piaffe and rather enjoys showing off". Well
done all!!!

April 2011 - We
were pleased to hear from the owner of
Bailey (Belissimo x Rubinstein).
His owner says "Hi Karen, thought i'd just
email you to give you a wee update! Bailey is
doing fantastic, he's turned out to be a talented
showjumper, we haven't had much time to take him
to dressage but hopefully will over the summer.
He's been placed every time out and has now won
about £300 BSJA since October last year".

Jan 2011 - We
were delighted to receive some pictures of Siro
MKM. He has now started under saddle and his
owner is delighted with him. "Just
wanted to let you know Siro is backed and is AWESOME!!
He'll obviously only be lightly worked for a year
or so but he is supremely talented! You bred a
great horse!"
Siro
MKM is by Sir Donnerhall and out of our broodmare
Raissa (by Rubinstein).
Raissa is currently in foal to Fürstenball
(Fürst Heinrich x Donnerhall), due beginning
of April 2011.
